The actress of 18 films and always prefers to feel her presence on the silver screen Bhama wants not to be like Vidya Balan actress from her home ground. The roles touching for audience and inspiring for me counts a lot says Bhama who came to The Bell hotel for promotion of her second Kannada release Shyloo on this Friday.

For me Lohitdas is mentor in Malayalam and S.Narayan is similar in Kannada. He is awesome; I have liked the O Jeevave…song because there is lot of love in it. Leeches was the scary part of the shooting for me in Munnar. Every day leech was sucking the blood. I have liked this character very much and it was something dream role for me. When I saw ‘Myna’ I thought of this role for me. It came to me I was astonished says Bhama the beautiful smiling heroine.

She is waiting for December 9 for the release of ‘Shyloo’. She is very anxious to know the results. It was a good travel in my second home Kannada cinema. Armed with BA in Sociology, Bhama never wants to pick up ultra modern roles. I have got a placement that I don’t want to change she says. She is now in her second film with the same director S Narayan opposite Srinagara Kitty in ‘Appayya’.

I cannot reveal my role but it is once again village based role. On her personal nature Bhama says she was very timid and afraid in the beginning. After the super hit film in Malayalam ‘Nivedhim’ she became quite circumspect with the arch light.

I do agree the payment is more in Telugu and Tamil but it is good in Mayalayam and Kannada too. On her learning experience Bhama says she watch Malayalam actor Jagathi Sreekumar and Urvashi films to take note of things in acting. It is the observation that helps in the growth she says.
